Prizes for banking diploma in Bangladesh.

The Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh (IBB) arranges Banking Diploma exam twice a year which has an important role in the development of a banker’s career. It adds an extra point for the promotion criteria who have passed Banking Diploma. So, every banker has an extra feel for sitting for Banking Diploma exams and passing them successfully.

The astonishing factor is that, though bankers sit for the Banking Diploma Exam to enrich their intelligence and expertise as well as to get promotion easily, but The Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh (IBB) offers incentives for the bankers who have successfully completed the Diploma Exam. And special incentives and medals are offered by different banks and financial institutions who stand in the position and got passed in first time appearance.

Banking diploma consists of two parts, one is Junior Associate of the Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh (JAIBB) and another is Diploma Associate of the Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh (DAIBB). Prizes will be awarded by the IBB annually on the basis of the results of JAIBB and DAIBB. The IBB, however, reserves the right of withholding any or all the prizes if no candidate of sufficient merit is found therefore. All the Prizes will be awarded on the combined results of the two regular examinations held yearly.

Various kinds of prizes for Banking Diploma Holders

GOLD MEDALS

1. Two Bangladesh Bank Gold Medals, one for JAIBB and one for DAIBB Examination, plus cash Tk. 6,000.00 in each, for standing first in the examination by securing minimum 60% marks in the aggregate and completing the examination in one chance.

2. Two Eastern Bank Ltd. Gold Medals, one for JAIBB and one for DAIBB, plus cash Tk. 6,000.00 in each, for standing first among the candidates who complete the examination in one chance.

3. One Monsur-ul-Amin Gold Medal (awarded by the IBB) for standing first among the candidates who complete both JAIBB and DAIBB Examinations in three consecutive chances securing at least 60% marks in the aggregate.                                 

SILVER MEDALS

01. Two Bangladesh Bank Silver Medals, one for JAIBB and one for DAIBB, plus cash Tk. 4,000.00 in each, for not qualifying for the Bangladesh Bank Gold Medals but standing first in the examination irrespective of the aggregate marks secured in the examination.

02. Two Sonali Bank Ltd Silver Medals, one for JAIBB and one for DAIBB, plus cash Tk. 4,000.00 each, for standing second in the examination by securing at least 55% marks in the aggregate.

CASH PRIZES

The cash prizes will be awarded to the candidates for securing the highest marks in individual subjects and completing the JAIBB and DAIBB Examination, as the case may be as indicated below: –

Note: Bank Management may change the Prize amount and cancel their prize anytime as per their bank’s discretion.

The minimum qualifying marks for award of cash prizes for standing first in individual subjects and passing the examination (JAIBB or DAIBB, as the case may be) are 60%.

Along with this, each bank are offering cash incentives for their employees who complete their JAIBB and DAIBB.
